Quite simply, the need for this finding is based on the clues that it could provide in terms of focusing on how the prenatal environment relates to outcomes after birth.’ The senior author of the scholarly study, Dr. Alan Brown of Columbia University, said, ‘This study provides further evidence that environmental elements occurring during or close to the prenatal period play a role in autism, a significant and disabling condition that afflicts an incredible number of individuals and that’s increasing in prevalence.I’m coming into the light, and it’s obtaining brighter and brighter, she said. Being overweight or obese has long been tied to an increased risk of various kinds cancer, including cancers of the colon, esophagus, kidney, pancreas and – in postmenopausal women – breast. But there hadn’t been very much evidence on the effects of exercise and diet for those who had had cancer. The last five years noticed more than 100 research involving cancer survivors, many of them showing that exercise and/or a healthy diet was associated with lower cancer recurrence rates and longer survival. Most of the extensive research was on breast, prostate and colorectal cancer.
